As everybody probably knows, I suck with words. I bring myself to a very common, two word sentence known as 'Thank you'. But 'thank you' right now is not enough. So I decided to thank the way El Rich and everybody knows it's the only one: with a picture. Being a passionate fan of photography brought me to Buzznet about 5-6 years ago and since back then I lacked inspiration (and may I say, a camera) I decided to make a silly joke with the name 'Helena', the same from that unknown My Chemical Romance song and became 'hilena', which was dumb but I was sort of slow back in the day, haha. My name is Mari, but I think the 'hilena' is there to kinda caught someone's attention, because Mari is sort of a common name, right? So, I was 'hilena' for a while and then when Buzznet allowed its users to change their names, I went through a huge list of names taken from my favorite songs or covers from favorite bands (same goes with 'Halcyon', which is from 'under halcyon skies', from The Maccabees) but I'll forever be 'hilena' in here because that's how I made my mark on the website. And that's how I made some wonderful talented friends that kept me inspired by being inspired week after week, sharing their amazing photograph/artwork/blogging experiences and seeing them of the first page as a 'featured' post made me want to become not only a worthy part of the family, but a worthy member. Sure, I had some issues by sharing MCR photos I wasn't supposed to share and I gave Buzznet some headache, but I payed for the pills, haha. And now I've moved on. Sure, I still care about MCR, but not as much as I care about what I do here on Buzznet: share my photos and not some pictures of a pretty dude with rainbow hair (yes, Gerard, I am talking about you). Music has been walking by my side from day one and now I talk about my favorite songs by simply uploading a photo that was inspired by the song. And usually when I'm inspired by a song, I'm on fire (great joke, haha) and I need to let the world of Buzznet aware of this fire before the ashes come. I learned so much just by watching what a home this place became and what a wonderful family we have behind each page and each photo, it just keeps me coming back here maybe just to check something or even share something to tell about what movie/song/band I've been listening to. I wrote a lot, read a lot, buzzed and shared comments a lot and I'm planning to do it all over again this year, because everyone who made my pictures appear on the first page are worth it and more. I wish I could hug each one of you personally and thank you all for everything, but I simply cannot, miles are putting us apart, but we are all together because of one place. So thank you all very much for everything and thank you for making me a Buzznet Original for the week, I'll spend the rest of it with a smile on my face and with some photos/songs in my head. :')
